What is a dongle?
1. A dongle is a device used to protect applications and data against unauthorized usage or duplication.

2.The dongle is attached to your computer’s parallel port (printer port)or USB port.
3. A dongle attached to a parallel port will not interfere with printers or other peripheral devices connected to the port via the dongle, see below.
